My Credentials

I earned my Master of Arts degree in Clinical Counseling from the University of Northern Colorado. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC*) in the state of Washington, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC**) in the state of Colorado, and a Board Certified Counselor with over eleven years of counseling experience. 

I am also a Certified Practitioner for the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) (a personality assessment) and the Strong Interest Inventory (an interest assessment most often used in education and career counseling).

* An LMHC credential means that its holder must have earned a Master’s degree in counseling and have a minimum of 3,000 counseling hours under the supervision of an approved licensed mental health counselor or equally qualified licensed mental health practitioner
**An LPC credential means that its holder must have earned a Master’s degree in counseling and have a minimum of 2,000 counseling hours and two years of post-Master’s supervision.
