My name is Jael Esquibel (she/her) and I'm a Licensed Counselor in Washington and Colorado. I'm passionate about empowering people, helping them live fuller lives and increasing their well-being. I identify as multi-ethnic with strong New Mexican, Latina cultural roots. Prior to being a counselor, I worked in a number of higher education settings in student affairs, including LGBTQ2SIA+ offices and career services.
I am passionate about helping the people I work with by supporting them through difficult times and watching them achieve their goals. I value each and every individual I work with and believe in their capacity for greater well-being.
I have over eleven years of counseling experience and have worked in community clinical counseling, career counseling, and private practice. Finding my passion for counseling and having a job I love has inspired me to help others do the same through career counseling.
